Abstract
This guide presents scientifically grounded approaches to managing the development of pupils’ learning and cognitive activities during the process of developing their written language skills. It outlines the psychophysiological and socio-personal characteristics of modern schoolchildren, the pedagogical conditions for effective teaching of written language, and methodological guidelines regarding the content, scope and level of complexity of the language material, which will enable the dynamic development of students’ written language skills.
