Abstract
The article substantiates the peculiarities of the scientific and methodological support of ecological project activities for high school students with an environmental orientation. The purpose is to theoretically substantiate and define the peculiarities of educational and methodological support of environmental project activities of high school students aimed at forming environmental competence. The objectives of the study are: to analyze scientific approaches to the organization of environmental project activities in the educational process of high school; to determine the didactic conditions that ensure effective educational and methodological support for environmentally oriented projects; to characterize the structure and content of educational and methodological support that promotes the development of environmental awareness and research skills of students; to create a methodological model for the implementation of environmental project activities in the educational environment of high school; to identify ways to improve The following methods were used to achieve the goal and objectives: theoretical: theoretical analysis and synthesis of literary sources; comparison, classification, generalization to clarify the content of the basic concepts of the study; systematic method, idealization; empirical: pedagogical observation, generalization of pedagogical experience. The scientific approaches to organizing environmental project activities in the high school educational process are defined as personality-oriented, competence-based, activity-based, integrated, and axiological. The didactic conditions of scientific and methodological support of ecological project activity of high school students of environmental orientation are highlighted: integration of environmental content into curricula and teaching and methodological complexes, methodological support for individualization and differentiation of learning, ensuring the practical orientation of the educational process, creating an information and educational environment, teacher training for the implementation of ecological project activity, psychological climate and motivational environment. A methodological model for educational and methodological support for environmental project activities for high school students with an environmental orientation has been developed. It is summarized that the improvement of scientific and methodological support for environmental project activities of environmental high school students, taking into account the requirements of the New Ukrainian School and the principles of education for sustainable development, involves the integration of innovative pedagogical approaches, the development of critical thinking, the active use of digital technologies, and support for teachers’ professional development.
