Abstract

The article examines the transformation of Ukraine’s vocational education system under martial law and its capacity for resilience. The author emphasizes that “the resilience of the vocational education system in Ukraine is viewed as its inherent ability to rapidly reconfigure internal structures and functional processes in response to catastrophic external challenges.” The study analyses the impact of war on educational infrastructure, human resources, digitalisation, regulatory changes, and the development of dual education. Special attention is given to vocational education as a strategic factor of national security, post-war recovery, and human capital development. The findings demonstrate that the system has shown exceptional adaptability due to increased institutional autonomy, digital solutions, international support, and flexible training programmes. The article concludes that vocational education has evolved from a traditional training model into an economic and social stabiliser during wartime.
