Abstract

The modern education system of Ukraine, which is experiencing a period of deep and multidimensional transformations caused by both internal reforms and external challenges, among which a full-scale war occupies a special place, is considered. One of the central directions of the strategic development of general secondary education is its integration into the European educational space. It is determined that the integration of European experience into the system of general secondary education of Ukraine is not only a strategic direction, but also a practical necessity in the conditions of war and post-war reconstruction. European approaches contribute to the renewal of the content of education, increasing the effectiveness of pedagogical practices, reducing educational losses, strengthening the resilience of schools and forming a system capable of adapting to the challenges of the 21st century.
