Abstract

An attempt has been made to look at the scientific and research activities of branch libraries through the prism of a retrospective analysis of some works of foreign researchers, which form an idea of ​​changes in the content and structure of educational libraries. The three-stage model of changes has been used as a matrix for illuminating the scientific and bibliographic component of scientific research of the V. O. Sukhomlynsky State Scientific and Pedagogical Library of Ukraine.
