Abstract

The article reveals the importance of vocational guidance as a tool for forming labor potential and ensuring socio-economic stability of regions. The key areas of its impact are identified: reducing unemployment, motivating young people to self-development, forming entrepreneurial thinking, and developing professional competencies. The challenges that complicate the implementation of career guidance are outlined, including the lack of cooperation between educational institutions and employers and poor funding. The necessity of introducing digital technologies, expanding public-private partnerships, developing dual education and improving the monitoring of the effectiveness of career guidance is substantiated.
