Abstract

This teacher’s guide has been developed for use in the professional development program titled “European Quality in Education for Better Student Achievement,” which has been adapted for teachers of science, mathematics, and Ukrainian language and literature. During the course, teachers explore topics that shed light on EU education policy, as well as the content and forms of education in member states, and receive training in developing original competency-based tasks to foster students’ scientific, mathematical, and reading literacy. The collection can be used by teachers at general secondary schools, instructors at specialized secondary schools, and students at teacher training institutions. This publication was produced within the framework of the Jean Monnet Module (620287-EPP-1-2020-1-UA-EPPJMO-MODULE), implemented at the Institute of Pedagogy of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine in 2020–2023.
