Abstract

This paper examines the transformation of the content of general secondary education based on a competence-based approach within the European and domestic educational contexts.The experience of implementing the competence-based approach in Ukraine is highlighted, in particular through the ‘New Ukrainian School’ reform, in the context of building an innovative educational environment and harmonising national standards with international requirements.
