Abstract
The issue of supporting children with experiences of forced migration is becoming increasingly relevant amid contemporary socio-political crises, armed conflicts, and ecological disasters. Younger schoolchildren who have experienced traumatic events often face stress and psychological challenges that can negatively impact their development, socialization, and integration. Resilience, understood as a dynamic ability to overcome stressful situations and restore psychological and physical functioning, is a key factor for successful adaptation of such children. This paper examines current psycho-pedagogical approaches to developing resilience in younger schoolchildren with forced migration experience, highlights the importance of support from parents, teachers, and psychologists, and emphasizes the role of active engagement, creativity, and integration into a group in fostering psychological stability. Practical recommendations are provided for creating a safe and supportive educational environment that promotes adaptation and enhances children’s capacity to overcome difficulties.
