Abstract

The monograph, for the first time, through the creative reflections of Ukrainian educational figures, scientists and writers, comprehensively represents the socio-cultural phenomenon of national education in Ukraine as a factor in national state formation (the period of the second half of the 19th - early 20th centuries) and the real embodiment of the idea of ​​Ukrainian statehood (the end of the 20th - beginning of the 21st centuries), which gave the authors of the publication a basis for systematizing and updating the philosophical and pedagogical heritage as a specific basis for the formation of national identity among modern consumers of scientific products. The path of elaboration and development in the works of Ukrainian intellectuals of the national idea as the core of the national philosophy of education and pedagogy, socio-anthropological and anthropocentric ideas regarding the education and upbringing of Ukrainian citizens, the idea of ​​cordocentrism as an archetypal dimension of the existence of Ukrainians, reflected in philosophical and pedagogical and artistic works, is highlighted. The materials of the monograph are intended for use in lecturing activities of HEIs, ZSZO, IPPE of Ukraine, updating the content of educational and educational-scientific programs in HEIs and IPPE of Ukraine, as well as in the research work of scientists, PhD candidates, teachers, and future educators.
