Abstract
Popovych Myroslav Volodymyrovych is one of the founders of the People's Movement of Ukraine (1989). In the conditions of "post-Soviet transformations" he spoke in the press, on radio and television, at all-Ukrainian and international forums, and on political talk shows on the most pressing issues of the progress of Ukrainian society, state building, and consolidation of the Ukrainian people (1991). In his work "Hryhoriy Skovoroda: Philosophy of Freedom" (2007, 2008), he carried out a modern reconstruction of the worldview and worldview of H. Skovoroda, depicting the work of the thinker in the historical range of his life and the great spiritual shifts of the era. In 2009, he published a thorough study, which, based on a wide source base, reveals the philosophical depth and great aesthetic power of Ukrainian culture in all its thematic and genre richness. Main works: “Essay on the History of Culture of Ukraine” (1998), “The Red Century” (2005), “Culture: An Illustrative Encyclopedia of Ukraine” (2009), “The Kyiv Philosophical School as a Subject of Discussion. Interview with Myroslav Popovych” (Philosophical Thought: Ukrainian Scientific and Theoretical Journal, 2015), “Philosophy of Freedom” (2018), etc.
