Abstract
The author presents an overview of contemporary evidence‑based psychotherapy methods — including Cognitive‑Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma‑Focused CBT, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) — aimed at reducing symptoms of mental disorders, enhancing adaptive skills, and fostering psychological resilience. The principles, applications, and scientific support for each approach are described, demonstrating their effectiveness in treating trauma, anxiety, depression, and other consequences of psychological trauma.
