Abstract

The program of correctional and developmental work «Correction of the development» (development of the cognitive sphere) is designed for younger schoolchildren with special educational needs, in particular with delayed mental development, autism spectrum disorders, disorders of intellectual development, emotional and volitional sphere, etc. The program is aimed at developing basic cognitive functions - attention, memory, thinking, imagination, perception - as well as increasing educational motivation, developing cognitive activity and adaptation skills. The content of the program is realized through a system of games, training and practical classes, taking into account the age and individual characteristics of children. The implementation of the program contributes to the successful socialization of students and the formation of prerequisites for further education in an inclusive or special educational environment.
