Abstract

Model curriculum «Labor training technologies: cooking, household chores. Grades 5-6» for special secondary education institutions for children with intellectual disabilities, using the TAN methodology - Soderberg, aimed at the formation of professional and labor competence, the development of the personality of students and preparation for successful professional and labor activities. The purpose of the model program is to ensure effective ways of social adaptation of students through work training, inclusion of children with intellectual disabilities in the social environment, and their involvement in social life at the level of their psychophysical capabilities. The program provides for the creation of a unique model of real labor activity, which is the main component of social adaptation. The tasks of the program are: development of intellectual, psychophysiological and physical qualities of the individual, necessary for professional and labor activity; training students in general labor techniques and forming relevant special labor skills and abilities in them; increasing the level of social competence, which will ensure the process of inclusion of students in life; the search for means and methods necessary for the students' assimilation of the system of values, norms and rules of behavior accepted in society, the formation of the ability to properly build their relationships with others; education of love for work, desire and ability to work. The program also emphasizes the importance of mastering the system of professional and labor knowledge, abilities and skills, development of thinking, communication and interaction skills, as well as correction of cognitive activity. The main principles include activity, person-oriented, competence and communicative approaches. Special attention is paid to social and labor adaptation for students with intellectual disabilities, providing an individual approach. Training is based on a corrective and developmental orientation, a differentiated approach. The program emphasizes the importance of constant repetition and consolidation of practical knowledge and skills by performing practical work for effective assimilation of educational material. Addressed to teachers, psychologists, teacher assistants, specialists-consultants of inclusive resource centers; parents raising children with intellectual disabilities; can be useful to students of pedagogical and psychological specialties, to all interested users.
