Abstract
The article highlights the state of formation of national solidarity among pupils and student youth in wartime conditions. The purpose of the article is to highlight the state of formation of national solidarity among pupils and student youth in wartime conditions. In accordance with the goal, the tasks were solved: to determine the criteria, indicators and levels of formation of national solidarity among pupils and student youth in wartime conditions. In particular, national solidarity was specified as the essential moral characteristic of the Ukrainian national community, which determines the national kinship of members of Ukrainian society through a system of values, national consciousness, national culture, language, moral rules and laws and is manifested in self-organization, active citizenship, the ability to act for a common goal and of the common good, and the formation of national solidarity among pupils and students as a result of the formation of the Ukrainian nation, irreversible democratic processes, cohesion in the defense of national interests, territorial integrity. The experimental work involved 634 people (353 of them 10-11th graders, 281 students, 112 teachers from Rivne, Donetsk, Kyiv, Cherkasy regions). The criteria and indicators for evaluating the levels of formation of national solidarity among schoolchildren and student youth were determined: cognitive, emotional-value, arbitrary motivation, activity and the indicators corresponding to them, which made it possible to identify the levels of formation among schoolchildren and student youth (high, medium, low). The research used methods of analysis, synthesis, generalization, questionnaires, interviews, conversations, pedagogical observation, which ensured the reliability and objectivity of indicators. The practical significance of the article is that its materials can be used in research on the specified problem and in organizing the educational process of institutions of general secondary education and higher education, as well as in the process of training teachers and during the pedagogical practice of students.
