Abstract

Scientists consider professional stress as a process of interaction between the individual and the professional environment, in which the demands of the professional environment significantly exceed the personal and professional resources of the subject of professional activity and threaten his professional development. It is indicated that the purest consequence of professional stress is professional (emotional burnout), which has several stages and a number of symptoms: permanent fatigue, depression, unmotivated aggressiveness, dissatisfaction with one's professional activities. The structure of professional burnout includes 3 aspects - emotional fatigue (exhaustion, indifference, desolation), depersonalization (deformation of relations in society) and reduction of professional achievements (awareness of a low level of one's own competence and professionalism. To overcome and prevent professional burnout, it is necessary to train specialists in recovery techniques and develop constructive coping strategies.
