Abstract

Recently, we can observe a trend in world cinema when “bad guys” become the main characters of a movie. The audience is no longer shown them one-sidedly - exclusively as anti-heroes, but from different angles: their feelings, emotions, motives, “rays of light” in their “dark souls”. And such heroes, even if they demonstrate many different negative qualities that are condemned by society, are still liked by the audience.
