Abstract

The attention is focused on the development of professional competences of library specialists, in particular, highly developed communication skills and emotional intelligence. The necessity of forming psychological competences in the process of training library specialists is substantiated. On the basis of annual monitoring of scientific and information activities of leading educational libraries, the topics of events related to psychology are highlighted.
