Abstract

This article describes actuality of research on different types of media trauma in ukrainian society. The special feature of media trauma is participation of media as source or as a way of transmission; the new typology of media trauma is based on the focused group discussion including measure of media activity of personality. Article includes description of 3 types of media trauma: the influence with the perception of media information, social contacts impairment and personal privacy impairment.
