Abstract

Art therapy is the most appropriate method of care for traumatic occurrences. It is proposed to use the technique of gratitude at the last stage of overcoming the consequences of traumatic events by Valerie Appleton. Posttraumatic growth is defined as experiencing positive change as a result of a traumatic event through the experience of deep self-improvement, qualitative change and personality transformation, the acquisition of new meanings.
