Abstract

The article discusses the development and challenges of the special education system in the modern dimension. The author emphasizes the importance of providing children with special needs with quality and competitive education in the context of its reform and the country's movement towards the European community. The author notes that the post-war development of Ukraine is impossible without the renewal and development of national education, including special education, which is associated with the prospects for the economic well-being of the country and its citizens and overcoming the spiritual and moral crisis in society, the development of scientific and technological progress, the revival of national identity, and Ukraine's integration into the world community.
