Abstract

The rationale considers the relevance of relying not only on external resources, but also on internal supports in the conditions of war. A brief theoretical overview of self-compassion as a factor of socio-psychological adaptation of an adult personality is presented. It has been suggested that Gestalt therapy can be an effective tool for increasing the level of self-compassion.
