Abstract

The role of tolerance to uncertainty as an internal resource of the individual in the context of the war in Ukraine is considered. It is noted that this property is becoming a key factor in survival and adaptation, helping the individual to overcome stress and quickly adapt to change. The author analyzes the relationship of tolerance to uncertainty with other psychological characteristics, such as achievement motivation and personal autonomy. It is argued that this property acts as a psychological resource that contributes to the restoration of mental health and constructive coping with stressful situations.
