Abstract
The article outlines that military actions have a significant negative impact on the psychological state of the population in Ukraine, and children are a particularly vulnerable category in this context. In view of this, it is important to familiarize the employees of educational institutions, parents and all adults who come into contact with children with useful online resources. These resources can help ensure timely and adequate psychological support for children during stressful events. Currently, there are various methods, exercises, games, new techniques for providing quick psychological support that can be effectively applied to children and young people, including free online resources where anyone can find help for themselves or their loved ones at any time of the day and anywhere in the world. One of the main emotional states that children experience during war is fear, which can lead to feelings of helplessness, panic, aggression, and anxiety. Children do not always experience stress in the same way as adults because it can be both more flexible and more traumatic at the same time. Stress in children can have physical and mental manifestations. Constantly being in a state of stress can have serious consequences and cause anxiety, depression, decreased appetite, problems with sleep (insomnia, nightmares), low self-esteem, concentration, motivation, etc. Among the easy-to-implement self-help methods that parents can offer their children, the following can be named: walks in the fresh air, adequate sleep, establishing a daily routine, taking care of yourself, engaging in sports or creativity, listening to music, reading or watching positive films or cartoons, compliance with information hygiene, and learning something new.
