Abstract
Psychological well-being is currently a problematic issue for the citizens of our country. Thus, after February 24, 2022, the psychological condition of many people worsened, which can be explained by military actions and fear for their own lives. At the same time, for many, anxiety has become a typical state, as it is not known what to expect the next day and whether it will come at all. At the same time, a number of other factors influence the psychological well-being of a teacher and a scientific-pedagogical worker. In particular, receiving the educational load, the teacher worries whether he will have time to prepare the educational material for the lesson, and is also in a state of stress, as he has constant contact with various participants in the educational process. All this affects the fact that it is necessary to highlight effective methods of self-support and self-regulation that allow teachers and scientific and pedagogical workers to effectively overcome stress and withstand the academic load. As a result, the following study was conducted. Accordingly, it is determined that psychological well-being is the state of a person in which he is able to perform all the functions assigned to him. Components of psychological well-being are positive relationships with others, autonomy, positive self-esteem, competence, and the presence of goals. Their combination allows a person to realize himself and develop his own skills and abilities. Such methods of self-support as isotherapy, sand therapy, clay therapy, fairytale therapy were analyzed. Their benefit for the psychological well-being of the teacher is determined. Methods of teacher self-efficacy are highlighted. This includes business games, verbal persuasion, observation of other people's achievements.
