Abstract

In the context of the continuation of the chronotopic reflection of the fate of international makarenko studies as a peculiar phenomenon in the history of pedagogical personalism of the 20th century. in the new conditions of the globalized world of the 21st century, the publication of the author from India, a well-known popularizer of scientific knowledge, a member of the Indian Society for the Study of the History of Education, Professor Arvind Gupta and the Romanian researcher Adrian Cioflancu, was analyzed and characterized. It was established that the first goal was to attract the attention of a wide circle of educators to the useful pedagogical ideas of A. Makarenko; the second - used the example of A. Makarenko's activity in building a critical-interpretive image of the Soviet era.
