Abstract
The Psychological Service of the education system is an important component of the state system of protection of physical and mental health of young citizens of Ukraine and acts to clarify and create optimal socio-psychological conditions for personal development. This function of the service is especially important in the difficult socio-political situation in the country. The activities of employees of the psychological service of the educational institution should be aimed at achieving two main goals: 1) overcoming traumatic experiences, victimhood and sociopathic developmental tendencies; 2) providing conditions and opportunities for effective social adaptation through prolonged psychological, social and legal assistance, organization of systematic psycho-correctional and other measures.
