Abstract
The manual is intended for military psychologists, graduate students, teachers, commanders of military units, humanitarian officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The first section of the methodical guide reveals the essence of the concept of psychological adaptation of the individual in extreme conditions, features of psychotraumatization of servicemen and psychopathological consequences of a person being in extreme conditions of military and professional activity. The second section deals with the criteria of mental and psychological health of the individual. In the third section the basic directions and methods of psychological rehabilitation of servicemen are offered. The introduction of the methodological manual in the practice of psychological services in the system of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will provide military-psychological and pedagogical workers of the Armed Forces with the means of psychological support, which will contribute to the prevention, psychocorrection of post-stress psychiatric disorders and solving the spectrum of psychological problems in the professional environment.
