Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of a phenomenon of spiritual determination of characterological developments of youth personality. On the basis of an experimental research of spiritual sphere and a degree of a harmony of character of modern students the author allocates the psychological laws of influence a spiritual orientation for the process of characterological developments of young men and girls. The experimental research has shown, that a spiritual orientation and a harmony of character have a mutually influence. However, the spiritual potential not always positively correlates with a harmony of character, because a process of harmonization of character is not linear, but cyclic: it has periodicity of harmonious rise and crisis. The crisis periods are accompanied expressed disharmony of character and promotes socially-psychological dіsadaptation of personality. Spiritual self-development under condition of a steady spiritual orientation promotes а harmonization of character by overcoming spiritually-personal crises. Only under condition of continuous moral struggle against own imperfection there is a gradual harmonization of character according to a spiritual ideal. Spiritually and creative activity promotes an activization of psychological mechanisms of harmonization of character at youth personality. The basic directions of optimization of an education system is creation of psychological conditions of spiritually and moral improvement, saturation of teaching and educational programs by actions of the spiritually and creative contents.
