Abstract
The peculiarities of the Ukrainian museum pedagogy development in the conditions of the ideological pressure of the Soviet era are described in the article. The priorities of the of the museum business progressive development in Ukraine at the present stage in the context of the establishment of national values are determined. The gaps in the development of musicology, museum pedagogic in the time of Ukrainian non-statehood were described. It is proved that the museum policy ideologically boasted of its "achievements" in relation to cultural activities, forcing history, art, science, aesthetics to serve not the truth, but to authorities, dogmas, which had nothing in common with the principles of culture conformance, natural correspondence, human-centeredness and humanism. Values propagated in the Soviet period, the educational ideals that were established in a totalitarian state, had nothing to do with world-wide ideological, political, ideological orientations based on the principles of cultural correspondence, respect for the values of the nation, state, and man, although museums were considered as cultural and socio-pedagogical institutions that served as educational institutions. It is proved that museum pedagogic; museum science at the present stage should establish a value system of historical, cultural, national, ideological, universal humanistic beliefs in society. In the legislative documents, scientific works the unified universal view on the significance of cultural-educational, scientific, tourist-excursion functions of museums of Ukraine is substantiated. Culture-saving, nation-building function of museums is to mediate the upbringing of the nation in a spirit of patriotic, civic attitude towards the Ukrainian people, their native land, the homeland, respect for national culture, traditions of ancestors, historical memory, which essentially distinguish the content, purpose, task of museum history of the Soviet period, which until recently was implemented in the public space. It is generalized that in order to overcome the Soviet ideologue, the modern museum must perform a range of functions related to the adoption of the principles of culture correspondence, humanism, the connection theory and practice, innovation. Today, the socio-cultural functions of museum pedagogy are due to the cultural, preserving the mission of museums. Among them are the following areas: education and upbringing, distribution of knowledge, propaganda (and educational orientation refers to patriotic, moral, aesthetic, labor education); growth of the cultural level of specific social strata; creating a sociocultural environment in accordance with the specifics of the region; formation of motivation and favorable environment for development of creative abilities, civic activity among various social and age groups of the population.
