Abstract
The article defines methodological guidance for the development of modern museum pedagogy in Ukraine based on the use of the retrospective method and the method of scientific extrapolation. It is proved that museum pedagogy considerably intensified and diversified the culture of communication, the processes of communication of individual or collective subjects during acquaintance with museum objects, collections. Since communication is now considered to be the leading key feature of modern museum, it is worthwhile to change its form and essence qualitatively. Accordingly, communication should be dialogue. The very nature of modern pedagogy involves interpersonal pedagogical interaction, which promotes active involvement of individual in society, culture and civil life on the basis of equal partnership. It is important that through communication through the museum pedagogy there is a deeper understanding of things, assimilation of the values of the present socio-cultural environment, especially the development of self-consciousness is being intensified and person’s self-emotional and psychological attitude to the outside world is being produced. The outlined approaches museum communications (anthropocentric, cultural, axiological and dialogical) predetermine the need to comprehence cultural-historical, psycho-pedagogical, social organizational and personnel aspects in accordance with new circumstances and social needs. The emphasis on this attention, the development of adequate mechanism of action is a universal, well-established reaction in the activity of museum institutes, which are characteristic of many other nations and states. It is important not only to change the forms of activity, when monologues concept transferring knowledge, information is being changed into dialogicity of communication. The ways of qualitative transformation of museum policy, methodology of museum space designing, carrying out scientific researches, communicative function of museum pedagogy and others are offered.
