Abstract
The article presents the results of an empirical study of the characteristics of the personal readiness of the heads of vocational education institutions to marketing educational services. The main problems of the activities of modern institutions of vocational education, which may adversely affect the personality readiness of their managers to professional activities, are identified. The main indicators of personality readiness of managers of vocational education institutions to the marketing of educational services and methods of their research are determined. Insufficient level of personal readiness of the studied managers is revealed. The peculiarities of personal readiness of managers of institutions of vocational education to the marketing of educational services depending on the type of educational institution, its location, region, etc. are revealed. It has been established that in innovative vocational education institutions (colleges, TLUs) the level of personality readiness of managers is higher than the heads of the usual institutions of vocational education, especially in those located in the center of the country. Statistically significant differences in gender, age and length of service of professional activity of managers of institutions of vocational education were revealed only in certain indicators of personality readiness to marketing of educational services (entrepreneurial abilities, social creativity, etc.). The feasibility of promoting the development of personal readiness of managers to marketing educational services in the context of postgraduate education was stated.
