Abstract

The issues of linguistic support of the electronic catalog, the use of various information and search languages in the process of document processing and search in the electronic catalog are covered. In particular, issues of thematic search are considered, the value of authoritative file of subject headings and authoritative control for organization of electronic catalog, quality assurance and improvement of thematic search in electronic catalog are revealed.
