Abstract

The article discusses socio-cultural aspects of civilization development associated with the role of consciousness, of thinking, of cognition in the formation of a market economy and democracy. It notes the importance of engineering and technology in the movement of society to a higher level of development. Reveals the transition from technology for a comfortable material conditions of people's lives, to the technique that increase the possibility of human consciousness. Based on the analysis of materials of the fourth industrial revolution, the authors draw attention to the trend of development of artificial intelligence, the formation of collective intelligence and the possibility of a future of hyperraum.
