Abstract

The article represents the organization and results of the empirical study of the specifics of pedagogical community adaptation to changes in society as a result of armed conflict. The article describes diagnostic tools, and justifies the consideration of the process of community adaptation to the consequences of armed conflict from the point of subjective assessment of adaptability to such conditions and satisfaction of basic life needs as the indicators of the community's adaptive potential. The article presents the results of the study that shows the belief in self-efficacy and manageability, as well as high rates of posttraumatic growth (positive adaptation), and comprehensibility as the ability to predict the development of events and the conviction of the meaning of life. It is a manifestation of the social and psychological resource of community, which ensures the success of its adaptation. The results of subjective assessment of adaptability, locus-control, evaluation of their future, post-traumatic growth and self-efficacy allow us to speak about a sufficiently high level of the adaptive potential of the pedagogical community. It makes this community as viable, capable of intensifying efforts to increase adaptability to the consequences of armed conflict.
