Abstract
The article is devoted to the problem of the formation and use of the authoritative file „Subject Headings” on issues of education, pedagogy and psychology in the electronic catalog of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine. V. O. Sukhomlynsky. The peculiarities of the creation and editing of the authoritative file „Subject Headings” and the reflection in it of modern educational terminology in accordance with the new Ukrainian legislation in the field of education and science are considered.
