Abstract

In the article the necessity of functioning of traditional card-table catalogues of libraries, realization of permanent control after quality of systematic catalogues, their improvement and maintenance in good conditions in conjunction with the electronic catalogue is grounded. It allows to create such information-search system of library which will prevent the loss of information, will provide maximum efficiency and completeness of the search, will fully satisfy the informative needs of users.
