Abstract

The article is devoted to review of different concepts of the cultural approach in the modern pedagogical and psychological literature, as well as to analysis of the culture concept in the context of the mentioned approach and determining the place of cultural approach among other existing approaches. Accordance of the cultural approach principles and initial concept of culture is pointed. A close link between the cultural approach and other approaches like personal approach, humanistic orientation, conception of the cultures dialog is mentioned.
