Abstract

This article analyzes the issues of Ukrainian ethnogenesis development. The author proves this phenomenon to overcome a complex process of becoming. However, basing on studies of various historical and scientific sources the author concludes that some foreign and national scholars largely misrepresent its certain aspects. The author substantiates the idea according to which Ukrainian is a part of human’s culture, it has an original character and is the basis of nation existence.
