Abstract
One of the interpretations of the term "diagnosis" is translated from the Greek is "recognition". In recognition of diagnostics understand anything. Psycho- pedagogical diagnostics provided for the collection and accumulation of statistical data on the characteristics of the psyche of those who fall under the diagnosis to be considered teachers for the organization and implementation of educational activities. As part of our psycho -pedagogical diagnosis is defined as the science of developing methods to identify and study individual psychological and psychophysical individual personality traits. As to a large extent, as new technologies displace routine unskilled labor, human resources mobilized for creative work related to the decision-making. This requires an appropriate level of intellectual and professional training. The article deals with the development of psycho-pedagogical diagnostics in historical perspective. Development of a creative thinking and meta cognitive skills is a one aspect of development.
