Abstract

In the article the necessity of functioning of traditional card-table catalogues of libraries, re-alization of permanent control after quality of systematic catalogues, their improvement and main-tenance in good conditions in conjunction with the electronic catalogue is grounded. It allows to create such information-search system of library which will prevent the loss of information, will provide maximum efficiency and completeness of the search, will fully satisfy the informative needs of users.
