Abstract

The paper considers training as innovative socio-educational technology which certainly possesses all the features to be used in pedagogical process. Possibilities of training as a means of optimizing the pedagogical educational work at VET schools are investigated. At the same time the author states that this technology has some limitations to be applied, it ignores to a certain extent the purely human, rational, specific to the particular individual. Training brings one’s ability to skills and automaticity, however, excluding rational critical awareness of the essential characteristics of the process. Trainings destroy something existential and personal, they force everybody to work according to the same pattern, do not consider the possibility for personal rational understanding of problematic situations. The technology is suitable for the formation of simple, well-established skills for which there is no different vision. Training content does not always meet personal world outlook and interests of a human, it can destroy his moral principles. Methods of interactions are implicitly accepted by not all participants but it is definitely suitable for leaders. The rest of the groups in an audience either perform tasks given by a coach without much enthusiasm or take part in training only on paper. It is extremely necessary to have additional scientific-pedagogical and regulatory justification of trainings hence excluding damage to their members.
