Abstract

The article examines the strategic guidelines and successful practices of vocational secondary education. The existing regulatory documents governing educational activities in vocational secondary education are analysed. The types of educational institutions that provide complete general secondary education are identified. Pre-profile training is substantiated, which should contribute to the profile self-determination of students, their career guidance, and informing students. It is noted that specialised education is regional in nature, i.e. it covers the territory of the community with educational services. It is proved that vocational secondary education is focused on students' choice of future profile and prepares them for further study or work.
