Abstract

The thesis emphasizes the task of determining the structure and content of civic and historical education profiles in the context of the requirements of the State Standard of specialized secondary education. The article presents the generalized results of an online survey of teachers of history, civic education and jurisprudence of general secondary education institutions as part of research aimed at substantiating models of relevant learning profiles. It is noted that the conducted studies have demonstrated the readiness of teachers to switch to 12-year specialized education, the presence of a promising vision of teaching subjects in the field in grades 10-12. The directions of further research of the problem are determined, including: the structure and content of each of the compulsory subjects of the field, their correlation with the elective components of the profiles, the potential of intersubject/interdisciplinary integration.
