Abstract

The study цфs devoted to the problem of professional development of college teachers in special conditions of activity. The analysis of the current state of vocational pre-higher education and forecasting the directions of its further development convince us that the professional competence of teaching staff at a college is decisive in the process of modernization and improvement of the process of professional training of future vocational bachelors in response to modern challenges. The effectiveness and purposefulness of the teacher's professional development process should be ensured by an appropriate system of developing the professional competence of college teaching staff, which structurally and functionally provide the constant growth of the professional competence of college teachers thanks to the combination of opportunities for course preparation, methodical work at the college, self-education, and innovative learning technologies.
