Abstract
Psychologists and psychotherapists increasingly have to work with children and families who have suffered psychological trauma since the full-scale invasion of the enemy on the territory of Ukraine. The most vulnerable category among persons seeking psychological help and support are families raising children with special educational needs, in particular with hearing impairments. The psychological trauma caused by the beginning of the military conflict affected the perception of time, the understanding of the past, present and future. Experts emphasize that the intensity of experienced feelings, traumatic stress is proportional to the entire previous life. Because of this, it seems to be the most important event in life, both for an adult and for a child. Let's emphasize that children's memories, experiences, emotions and the way out of trauma and stress depend to a large extent on the behavior of parents, relatives, and relatives. Immediate psychological intervention, as close as possible in time to the trauma, allows you to prevent many undesirable consequences and the transition of certain problems into a chronic form. Considerable attention in special psychology is given to the detection, psychological analysis and psychological help (psychocorrection and psychotherapy) of the phenomena-consequences of the military conflict on the territory of Ukraine. The most characteristic conditions that can be recorded in children with special educational needs (*hereinafter referred to as "children with SEN"), in particular children with hearing impairments, are the dominance of acute and/or chronic negative emotional experiences: anxiety, fear, aggression, irritability, dysphoria . In such states, affects arise that can reach such a level of intensity that it disorganizes the usual state of the child's cognitive, behavioral, self-regulatory, and social personality systems, complicating the process of adaptation to the events taking place. Let's emphasize that intense emotional experiences, such as fear, panic, horror, despair under stress conditions, are characteristic, mainly, of adults who raise a child with OOP (hearing impairment). It is they who make it difficult for the child to adequately perceive reality, the correctness and assessment of the situation, interfere with making decisions, especially their permanence, and finding an adequate way out of a stressful situation.
