Abstract
The manual deals with topical issues of educating preschoolers with visual impairments, theoretical foundations of play activities, creating a motivational basis for teaching preschool children with visual impairments through play activities, organizing the pedagogical process in the form of various games, and creating conditions for the development of a child with visual impairments. Game pedagogical technologies open opportunities for positive socialization of a child with visual impairment, personal development, initiative and creative abilities in the process of game activity, creation of a developing educational environment. The manual is addressed to typhlopedagogues and educators in special preschool educational institutions for children with visual impairments, and can also be used in the system of training and postgraduate education of employees of these institutions.
