Abstract

The educational and methodical manual contains scientifically based theoretical and practical information, a methodological toolkit for the formation of environmental competence, consciousness and ecologically responsible attitude towards the environment among students of education. Structured into three content sections in accordance with educational trends for use in educational institutions. The content deepens the acquired theoretical ecological knowledge and ensures the acquisition of practical skills, skills in the field of ecology, on the basis of which the student of education can carry out active practical environmental protection activities, both personal and public. The educational and methodological manual is aimed at forming environmental competence on the basis of an emotional and valuable attitude to the environment, strengthening the role of children and youth in solving environmental problems of the community. It can be used in institutions of general secondary and extra-curricular education, as well as by students of professional pre-university, higher education institutions and students of postgraduate education courses, public environmental organizations, etc.
