Abstract

The methodical recommendations substantiate pedagogical work on the organization and introduction of elective courses in geography and economics in general secondary education institutions. Methodological guidelines for teachers of general secondary education institutions regarding the introduction of curricula for elective courses to strengthen the geographic and economic component in basic courses in geography and economics are provided. Methodological recommendations will be useful for developers of educational literature, who will create educational and methodological support for teaching these optional courses in institutions of general secondary education and for applicants and teachers of institutions of higher pedagogical education, subjects of teacher training.
