Abstract

Abstract Relevance: the challenges of the modern information society and the intensive development of small business in Ukraine have determined the problem of improving approaches to choosing forms and methods of developing skills needed for future professionals to open and successfully run their own business. Purpose: to identify and characterize the most effective forms and methods of training future professionals for entrepreneurship in the conditions of active development of the information society and small business. Methods: analysis and generalization of scientific, educational and industrial-practical sources – to study the content and features of the use of modern interactive forms and methods of teaching in vocational education institutions; study of analytical reports of vocational (professional-technical) education institutions on the results of innovative educational activities at the national level to explore the problem of readiness of student youth for entrepreneurship – to identify the most effective forms and methods of developing entrepreneurial competence of future skilled workers. Results: on the basis of the analysis of scientific, educational and industrial-practical sources, modern interactive forms and methods of development of entrepreneurial competence of future specialists are generalized and characterized; based on the study of vocational education institutions’ analytical reports on the results of innovative educational activities at the national level to explore the problem of readiness of student youth for entrepreneurship, forms and methods (the most convenient and effective in distance and blended learning) are identified; recommendations have been formulated to increase the efficiency of training future specialists for the implementation of entrepreneurial activity in the conditions of active development of the information society and small business. Conclusions: in modern conditions, the requirements for quality and the process of training future entrepreneurs have changed dramatically (because the acquired knowledge is rapidly becoming obsolete, the task of forming the competencies necessary for continuous self-development and self-improvement of specialists of dynamic and rather risky business activity is actualized); pedagogical science has accumulated a large arsenal of interactive forms and methods of work that can be used in the development of entrepreneurial competence of future skilled workers (discussion – dialogue, group discussion, analysis of practical situations; games – didactic, creative, business, role, organizational and activity; training; – communicative, sensitive, aimed at forming figurative and logical spheres of consciousness); the characterized forms and methods increase the effectiveness of training future professionals for entrepreneurship (can be used in distance and mixed form of education; promote the formation of digital culture of future professionals, skills of life and activity in the conditions of digital society and digital economy; positively affect the awakening of student interest to study; improve the assimilation of educational material; prepare for teamwork, give the opportunity to gain some experience of entrepreneurship; cultivate respect for the right of everyone to freedom of speech, etc.); the main criteria for their effectiveness are the ability of individuals to economically use their own resources (intellectual, temporal, physical, emotional), the availability of relevant knowledge about personality and entrepreneurship, developed self-management skills, ability to work in a team, the formed readiness to produce, present and implement businessideas, and in the long run – ensuring the success of running own business.
